Youtube and Google sitting on a tree... PDF Print E-mail
Written by Laura Miller
Are you a YouTube addict? Do you often wonder where to find the songs, books games you see featured there?

Well, Google read your mind. Soon, YouTube videos will feature *buy it now* links. Only available in the US right now. But look out world! They intend to expand.

Youtube adding a marketplace heats up my imagination.

Much speculation on whether the *partners* will include everyone one not just the big corporations. It’s a great way to monetize the free content and if it becomes available to small affiliates it could be what one mareketer called the *incentive of the century*

“Makes me laugh. One day the record labels are suing YouTube, the next they are climbing into bed with them.”

Oh honey... this is how life is!

Aren't reconciliations the best part of any relationship?

I think it is brilliant from Google... of course, they are clever boys and have some tendency to play all the positions.
Mmmm nice...

Another marketer pointed out that this is a prime example of Google innovation. The tougher the economic climate the more he expects to see them run laps around their competition.

Well... if they open it up for everyone... it will be good to product developers and not so good for affiliates. There seem to be some consistency in Google hitting affiliate marketing with not much value added.

The opinion was offered that it could possibly be a revolution for all. If Google allows a re-direct URL like they do with Adwords it opens the door to many opportunities.

Everyone’s imagination seems to have caught fire over this.
