Assessing your talents PDF Print E-mail
Written by Laura Miller

Everyone has talents. Sometimes, we aren’t sure where or how to market them. A marketer recently asked if he should sell his custom template designs wholesale, and even wondered if there was a market for them.

He has very nice talents...

Of course, he could go the giveaway system. He would build a list and a following. Plus, all those yummy backlinks from his built in link in the template footer.

These questions are a nice first step to know his market... but I think he could drill a bit deeper.

The only way to sell easy is to make an irresistible offer to someone who is looking for a product like yours...

Why someone would find irresistible to give you money each month for different templates? It should be someone who put up websites in different niches all the time, and has the resources and time to do it...

The lil detail is that a website is much more than the template... and people who count with the resources to make use of this product might prefer a really unique look.

You know? if he teamed up with a writer and made full packages. Or connected his templates with an application and offered some way of customization with spinning and hosting, he can access a different more upscale type of buyer...

Once you define your target market, the right way to own them will come to you.

Now... all this chit chat leads to you... and me, and all of us. Have you ever done a talent assessment? do you know what are your strengths and weaknesses? Are you taking the best possible advantage of your strengths and covering your butt outsourcing the others?

Let me ask you a question... What are the talents needed to be an internet marketer? Which ones can be outsourced? Which to start a business? to make it to full time? to break the 5 figures? to break the 10 figures?

Do you know? do you have an opinion? Then, please, register here and post your comment (it's fast and easy).

Rambling from this post in warriors.
